Newport Athletic Club Announces Swim Programs for April “Adult Learn-to-Swim Month”
NEWPORT, RI (March 30, 2016) – Newport Athletic Club (NAC) has announced new programs and specials to celebrate April “Adult Learn-to-Swim Month,” as declared by the Swimming Saves Lives Foundation. In addition to adult options, NAC will also continue to offer private and semi-private swim lessons for children with our certified instructors and through the PODS swimming program.
In support of “Adult Learn-to-Swim Month,” the Swimming Saves Lives Foundation will offer a free swim clinic for adults of all abilities April 11th – 15th, from 6pm – 7pm at the NAC pool. New participants will receive a free United States Masters Swim (USMS) membership, and returning participants are required to purchase an annual membership USMS membership for $46. Additionally, all new NAC swim clients will receive 10% off any private or semi-private lessons purchased during the month of April. Regular 30-minute swim lessons will be available for the following discounted price: Private lesson, $25.20 per lesson and Semi-Private lesson, $21.60 per person, per lesson.
The PODS swimming program will continue to offer swim lessons in the NAC pool for the duration of Spring Session I, which runs through April 22nd. To learn more about PODS and to register, visit www.podsswimming.com.
