David Soucy of Soucy Insurance Selected to Serve on Safeco Insurance Regional Advisory Council for Second Term

Woonsocket, RI (January 14, 2015) — David Soucy, president of Soucy Insurance Agency in Woonsocket, RI, will help to improve the experience of Safeco Insurance customers after being selected to join the Northeast Region Advisory Council for a second year.

The advisory council program, which consists of eight regional panels along with a national council, gathers feedback from agents across the country to enhance both service and business results for Safeco and independent agencies.

“The Safeco Agent Advisory Council is more than just another industry panel,” said David Soucy. “After serving on the council last year, I have seen first-hand how it assists us to become an even stronger voice for our customers and help Safeco and other independent agents continually improve our service. I am honored and excited to be a part of this experience for a second year in a row.”

Safeco has been using advisory councils for more than 10 years to collaborate with agents on solutions that will improve the agent and customer experience. Safeco’s collaboration with agents through advisory councils is a testament to Safeco’s commitment to independent agents.

Approximately 140 agents sit on the regional councils, all managed by agents. Regional Advisory Council participants serve three-year terms, with about one-third of the membership rotating annually.
