Providence, RI (April 11, 2016) – The Law Offices of Ronald J. Resmini has announced that Amy G. Rice, Esq. has joined their legal team. Rice has over fifteen years of experience litigating cases in Rhode Island’s Supreme, Superior, Family, Workers’ Compensation, District and Traffic Courts. Specializing in injury law, Rice will advocate on behalf of the injured clients of the Law Offices of Ronald J. Resmini.
Rice has an extensive career in both litigation and government affairs, and Ronald Resmini believes she will be a valuable asset to their expanding legal team, stating: “Attorney Rice is a very knowledgeable, aggressive and articulate lawyer. She has vast experience in practicing law and brings a new and fresh perspective to our practice. Prior to completing her legal education, Rice was employed as a Rhode Island Deputy Sheriff for over ten years, where she served in the Supreme, Superior, Family, District and Workers’ Compensation Courts. She received a Bachelor’s degree, phi sigma alpha, from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor’s degree cum laude from Salve Regina University where she also earned a Master’s degree in Administration of Justice. Rice attained her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University School of Law.
Upon graduation, Rice worked as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Rhode Island Supreme Court in Providence, and also served as Legal Counsel for Governor Chafee. She was elected to three terms as a state representative where she was named Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee, Secretary of the Environment Committee, and also Deputy Majority Leader.

She is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in Rhode Island, and has also been admitted to practice Pro Hac Vice in Palm Beach County, Florida and the Northern District of Illinois. Rice is a native of Providence, RI and her family currently resides in Portsmouth, RI.
