NEWPORT COUNTY CHAMBER CONNECTIONS HOSTS “MAKING HISTORIC CONNECTIONS” NETWORKING EVENT AT THE EISENHOWER HOUSE
NEWPORT, RI (June 7, 2017) Newport County Chamber Connections, part of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting a business networking event, “Making Historic Connections,” on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Eisenhower House located at 1 Lincoln Drive, Fort Adams in Newport, RI.
While listening to the music of ZanRicky and networking with Chamber Connections members and other professionals, all will enjoy oysters from Matunuck Oyster Bar, fresh Hawaiian specialties from Flat Waves and hors d’oeuvres by Pranzi Catering. Wine will be provided by Newport Vineyards and beer from Narragansett Brewing Company, Revival Brewing Co. and Whalers Brewing Company. Dan Healy will be providing bartender services, and soft drinks will be provided by CollegeBound/Savers. The Eisenhower House will be open for viewing throughout the evening and Fort Adams will be offering complimentary tours of the “Lost Fortress” at 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM. If you plan to participate in the “Lost Fortress” tour, comfortable shoes are recommended.
There will also be a special photo booth by Dave Wilder of Momentus for guests to preserve their memories of the event. Floral designs by Teresa Mello of Dreamscape Design will beautifully accent the tables, and tents will be provided by Newport Tent. Additionally, Rich Hudson of Hudson Photography will be taking candid photos.
In addition to the door prize raffles of two Family Memberships to Fort Adams, there is a Silent Auction which includes a number of great items such as a Gift Certificate from Salvation Café; Legal Services from Silva, Thomas, Martland and Offenberg; residential or commercial Design Services from Drawing Conclusions; 6 hours of personal training, 1 month membership, tennis lesson, and a chiropractic assessment from Bridge to Fitness; Wine tastings for 10 at Greenvale Winery and Newport Vineyards, Tickets for 2 to the Newport Play House and Gift Certificates from Newport County Computer, Cabi, Minuteman Press and On-Site Tech.
