Chamber to Hold Annual Golf Tournament at Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club

Proceeds to Support Programs and Services Provided to Chamber Members

NEWPORT, RI (August 22, 2017) – The Newport County Chamber of Commerce’s annual golf tournament, sponsored by Phil’s Propane, will take place on Monday, September 11th at Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club (152 Browns Lane, Middletown). All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to support programs and services offered to Chamber members.

The day will start with a round of golf, followed by lunch, awards and a raffle in the dining room. This tournament promises to be a great networking event as well as an ideal opportunity to support the Chamber. Tickets are priced at $160 for a single golfer and $600 for a foursome.

“Our Annual Golf Tournament brings together people from all parts of the community and helps to showcase how the Chamber is helping local businesses succeed,” said Executive Director Erin Donovan-Boyle. “It’s also the perfect event for new and old businesses alike to make new connections within the Newport business community. We are looking forward to a fun and successful day of golf and networking.”

This event would not be made possible without the support of our event sponsors Phil’s Propane; Newport Hospital; Planet Aid; Centreville Bank; Hyundai of Newport; Woodard & Curran; Newport Propane; Sea Corp; and Cox Business. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Contact the Chamber if you are interested in sponsoring this signature event.
