CODAC Behavioral Healthcare Appoints Susan Figueiredo as Chief Operating Officer

Susan FigueiredoCranston, RI (November 30, 2021) – CODAC Behavioral Healthcare announces the appointment of Susan Figueiredo, LMHC, LADC, as Chief Operating Officer effective Monday, November 4, 2021. In her new role, Figueiredo will oversee clinical operations, logistics, strategic planning, census reporting, national sourcing and infrastructure to lead the company’s efforts at improve efficiency, efficacy and the achievement of short-term and long-term goals. 

Prior to CODAC, Figueiredo has served in operations for various levels of care, including inpatient, outpatient, medication assisted treatment, community-based services, and Opioid Treatment Programs. In these roles, Figueiredo was responsible for financial and operational oversite, growth and development of mid-level managers, policy review and development, grant writing, and project management.   

Figueiredo was born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Plymouth, with a Bachelors in Psychology. She then completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology at UMass Dartmouth. Figueiredo went on to attain her LMHC license and has received awards for implementing notable pilot programs focused on Substance Abuse Treatment, as well as facilitating trainings aimed at increasing Quality Assurance and Staff Retention.
