Major General Kevin R. McBride to Discuss the Importance of Employer Support of the Guard at Chamber Breakfast

Major General Kevin R. McBride, Adjutant General of Rhode Island and Commanding General of the Rhode Island National Guard, will be the guest speaker at the next Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce’s Eggs and Issues Breakfast on Thursday, December 19th, 2013 at 8:00am at the Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road, Lincoln.
The General will discuss how the involvement and services of the Guard have evolved through the years, and how adequate troop readiness and family support for those left behind is more important than ever. Additionally, guests will hear about the Guard’s efforts in Rhode Island and elsewhere and why employers should consider partnering with the RI National Guard and the office of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
