Lincoln, Rhode Island: The Northern Rhode Island (NRI) Chamber of Commerce has several events for members and the public to attend in April to connect with businesses in the region.
One of the premiere events in April will be the annual Legislative Reception conducted by the Chamber and the RI Chamber of Commerce Coalition, which is one of the largest business advocacy and lobbying organization in the state. The reception is scheduled for April 17 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the State House, 82 Smith St., Providence, in the Governor’s State Room and State House Rotunda.
The Legislative Reception is an opportunity for business leaders from around the state to meet with colleagues and elected officials to discuss business issues and concerns they may have in a relaxed and informal setting. Free valet parking will be available at the Smith Street entrance of the State House, and hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beverages will be served. The cost to attend is $15 per person. A Networking at Night event is scheduled for April 7 from 5 to 7 at the Oakland Grove Health Care Center, 560 Cumberland Hill Road, Woonsocket. People can grow their business by obtaining referrals and making contacts while enjoying light refreshments. If Spain is on your list of must-see destinations, you should attend the Chamber’s Travel Night on April 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 965 Douglas Pike, Smithfield. Travel experts will outline a Spain’s Classics trip that will run from Nov. 8 to 18. Highlights of the trip through Travel Advisors of Lincoln and Collette of Pawtucket will include Madrid, the Royal Palace, Toledo, Cordoba, Seville, Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter and LaSagrada Familia. An exciting celebration of Elite Physical Therapy will be held during a Networking at Night event from 5 to 7 on April 28. A ribbon cutting and grand opening will be conducted to mark Elite’s seventh location at 618 George Washington Highway, Lincoln.
