Northern RI Chamber of Commerce offers opportunities for businesses to connect
Business After Hours, 23rd Annual Dinner, and New Business Before Hours are featured February events

Lincoln, Rhode Island (January 27, 2013)–The Northern Rhode Island (NRI) Chamber of Commerce has several events for members and the public to attend to connect with businesses in the community.
The NRI Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Networking at Night at Elite Physical Therapy on Wednesday, February 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 618 George Washington Highway, Lincoln, and will feature a ribbon cutting to celebrate the practice’s grand opening of its 7th location. The event provides an opportunity for local business professionals to network while welcoming the team of Elite to their new home in Lincoln. The NRI Chamber of Commerce’s 23rd Annual Dinner will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Twin River Event Center at 100 Twin River Road, Lincoln. This signature event is the Chamber’s largest event of the year and will feature a keynote address by Neil Steinberg, president and CEO of the Rhode Island Foundation. The Chamber also will announce the recipients of the Barbara C. Burlingame Award, which recognizes a Rhode Island elected official who has made outstanding contributions to the business community, and the Ben G. Mondor Award, which is given to an individual who goes above and beyond philanthropically within the community. To address a growing interest in networking events before business hours, the NRI Chamber will hold it’s first Business Before Hours on Thursday, February 27th, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Flavours Indian Restaurant at 1764 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Local business owners, entrepreneurs and other professionals will have the opportunity to network while enjoying coffee and breakfast courtesy of Flavours Indian Restaurant.
