Lepre Physical Therapy of East Greenwich Welcomes Dr. Mark Rotella

East Greenwich, RI (April 18, 2014) – Lepre Physical Therapy has announced the newest addition to their East Greenwich team, Dr. Mark Rotella. Dr. Rotella has been in practice for 13 years as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist with an emphasis on Manual Therapy.
“We are proud and happy to have Dr. Rotella join our company,” said Steve Lepre, President of Lepre Physical Therapy. “He has a vast amount of knowledge and experience that will make him a tremendous asset to our team, and I am confident that he will deliver the same superior level of care our patients have come to expect.”
Dr. Rotella has previously been employed as a clinic manager for an orthopedic outpatient clinic and has worked in a short-term rehabilitation facility prior to his orthopedic involvement. He provided in-home physical therapy for pediatric clients for Perspective’s Corporation, and he currently teaches Kinesiology at the Community College of Rhode Island.
“I look forward to working with the great therapists and staff here at Lepre,” said Dr. Rotella. “I believe that my education and training will enhance patient outcomes and further Lepre’s mission to offer a higher level of patient care.”
Dr. Rotella specializes in post-surgical joint replacements, chronic and acute pain, caring for spinal and extremity injuries, various neurological conditions as well as general reconditioning. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, NY as well as his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine (USA) in Florida. He is pursuing a specialty certification in manual therapy (MTC) which consists of seven courses focusing on spinal and extremity manipulation techniques and a myofascial release component. Dr. Rotella also works with vestibular/ balance disorders as he has received certification from the American Institute of Balance in Largo, FL.
